Alex Flanagan
She studied at in the University of Arizona as well as Salpointe Catholic High School, both of which are located in Tucson. Flanagan has been employed by as part of the NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. In the case of NBC Sports she is a reporter at the sidelines of football games, including Notre Dame Football home matches and Football Night in America. Flanagan can be seen and heard in television during Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games, where she hosts an in-game weekly recap program with Fran Charles. Alex is a native of Sonoita, Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. They have two daughters and a son. Alex's family runs Arizona steakhouses "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career during college as an intern with KVOA-TV. She started reporting sports in 1998. Flanagan has been with NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN and Fox Sports. Additionally, Flanagan was a Gamma Phi Beta sister. Flanagan began her career as a journalist on general assignments as well as a weekend anchor for KCCO-TV Alexandria, Minnesota. In this role, she worked for a total of two years with WSFA-TV which was located in Montgomery, Alabama.
