Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jameson; September 2, 1966)[3][4][5[5]] is a Mexican and American actor as well as film producer. Her career began in Mexico in the telenovela Teresa, where she was a lead in the telenovela Teresa (1989-1991), and the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) that brought her an Ariel Award nomination. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were but some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002) that she also produced was the first Mexican actress to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress[6Additionally, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. In the following years, Hayek focused more on making films, while also starring in action-oriented movies like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
